Rosa Parks was an African American woman who lived in Southern USA. She was born on February 4, 1913 and died on October 24, 2005. Back then there was a lot of racism against black people. They couldn't do a lot of things white people could do. On December 1st, 1955 she decided to sit at the front of the bus even when she wasn't allowed to. She spent her life fighting for human rights. She's one of the most important heroes of our time.
